Thomas Pöschl for the best doctoral thesis 2023 on
Modeling of the Galactic Cosmic-Ray Antiproton Flux andDevelopment of a Multi-Purpose Active-Target Particle Telescope for Cosmic Rays
He investigated the production and propagation of cosmic-ray antiprotons and antinuclei in our Galaxy and developed a novel detector concept to measure them in space. These exotic antiparticles are of special interest to study energetic processes and indirect dark-matter searches.
