Research
In our group we develop analytic and numerical methods for modelling the quantum dynamics of coherent solid-state and hybrid systems, such as superconducting quantum circuits, opto- and nanomechanical devices, or individual electronic spins. A central goal of this research is to identify improved control schemes and protocols for quantum communication and quantum information processing applications. In addition, we also explore novel quantum many-body phenomena that arise in such artificial quantum devices with specifically engineered properties and interactions.
