This lecture gives an introduction to Polymer Physics I:

  1. Classic and modern applications of polymers: from synthetic to functional material
  2. Nomenclature for the descpiption of polymers and models to the statistic description of chain formations
  3. Methods of characterizing mole mass and the slowness radius of polymers in solution
  4. Phase diagrams of polymer solutions and polymer mixtures: thermodynamic description, discussion of the available energy, constructing of phase diagrams, description of demixing mechanisms,
  5. Electric qualities of polymers: conductive polymers, preparation, mechanisms of conduction, applications
  6. Mechanical qualities of polymers: measuring methods and modules, leakage, relaxation and oscillatory experiments, viscoelastic polymer enamels and networked India rubber
